Graf von Faber-Castell

Graf von Faber-Castell is the premium line of fine writing instruments from the German manufacturer Faber-Castell.

Graf von Faber-Castell was founded by the great-grandson of the company's founder, Baron Lothar von Faber,  who was the first to commercialize the pencil. The brand includes a line of pencils, mechanical pencils, fountain pens, and rollerball pens. Currently, Graf von Faber-Castell makes high end writing instruments made of luxury materials such as special woods, resin, and ivory and exclusive desk accessories.
Every year since 2003, Graf von Faber-Castell has produced a line of limited edition fountain pens, named "Pen of the Year". These are regarded as one of the most priced pens in the world due to its fine craftsmanship and limited production. Each of the "Pen of the Year" has a nib of 18 carat bicolor gold with a barrel of exotic materials.
